At WSU, a proposed 5.5 percent increase would put a semester's tuition and fees at $2,682-- or $140 more than the current rate of $2,542.

To some of us who have been fortunate and blessed by the lord $140 is not going to be a major impact; however, this amount can be a tremendous impact to some families...If education is the true key for unlocking doors and helping to level the playing field in the game of life,how can the holders of the keys allow such things to happen?
