Even though I feel that conservatives have made it slightly difficult for President Obama to accomplish what he had hoped to this year. I do feel that you must have a sense of humor and see that even he is not immune to SNL's satire. The joke is only funny for so long because it's a decent impression of the President. However, SNL has become notorious for running a skit into the ground to the point that it is no longer funny. By the end it's just the same joke told twice when they could have cut that into two different skits separated throughout the show. Or, an original idea might be to tell it once and write a new joke for the second half. But that seems impossible these days for SNL writers. It's as though the talent well has dried up for the long-time Saturday Night tradition.
