Clinton: "No way. No how. No McCain."

Here's the speech:

I am honored to be here tonight. A proud mother. A proud Democrat. A proud American. And a proud supporter of Barack Obama.

My friends, it is time to take back the country we love.

Whether you voted for me or voted for Barack, the time is now to unite as a single party with a single purpose. We are on the same team, and none of us can sit on the sidelines.

This is a fight for the future. And it’s a fight we must win.

I haven’t spent the past 35 years in the trenches advocating for children, campaigning for universal health care, helping parents balance work and family, and fighting for women’s rights at home and around the world ... to see another Republican in the White House squander the promise of our country and the hopes of our people.

And you haven’t worked so hard over the last 18 months, or endured the last eight years, to suffer through more failed leadership.

No way. No how. No McCain.

Barack Obama is my candidate. And he must be our president.

Democrats must think that America has being asleep while they practiced GRIDLOCK against the Republican Programs for the last seven years. We don't need Democrats. The Democrats don't have a leader that can lead. The Democrats can mouth all the comments they wantagainst BUSH but we know who the real culprit is in the wake of our current malaise. The Democrats. So now they say we should trust them to change things in Washington . I don't think so.

I think that was likely Hillary Clinton's best speech ever. She energized the crowd, which loved her speech, and she made the main point of the night: that if you voted for her becuase of what she believed in, you could vote for Obama, becuase they shared a similar vision. It'll also help redefine her with new voters so that if she decides to run again in 4 or 8 years, newer voters will be likely to recognize her on this speech.

I just finished listening to her speech. I think she nailed it. I can’t remember too many other speeches that were as effective as that one was at covering all of the key and essential points. I think she was letting people know that she’s still a player and has a lot of clout. I think she gave Barack and lot more clout than in her campaign speeches. She let the world know that she is firmly behind Obama. Unlike in her campaign speeches, she spoke his name with the reverence the next President deserves. Finally, she gets it! It’s better late than never and it’s better now than later… She might not make it to 2016, when the B’dog is coming out of the Blackhouse, but she put her stamp on the Democratic Party. It actually felt good to listen to her tonight.
