Biden later recanted those statements saying, "Barack Obama is probably the most exciting candidate that the Democratic or Republican Party has produced at least since I've been around," Biden said on the call. "And he's fresh. He's new. He's smart. He's insightful. And I really regret that some have taken totally out of context my use of the world 'clean.'"

I don't think the statement he made is racist.... Some may see it as a stereotype remark......
Dems have no credibility. It's just about power. They will change any and all arguments to suit their desired outcome. If Biden was at the top of the ticket, it would be a toss-up between him and McCain. Both are qualified. The problem isn't McCain - it's that the Dems chose someone who is absolutely unqualified to even be considered for POTUS - merely because he's black and sounds good! What idiots. Dems keep nominating their worst candidates, because they're so far to the left.
