The Cooney-Holmes fight is a good story (they sorta made a movie lossely based on it) but Chris Rock is wrong. When the fight ended, after Cooney's corner literally threw in the towel in the 12th, the official scorecards read 113-111, 113-111, 115-109 all for Holmes.
Furthermore, by about round 10 the fight was even. Cooney nearly won the fight in the 4th.
