The District of Columbia is now recognizing same sex marriage licenses from other states, for residents who now reside in Washington under a new law that took effect July 7, 2009.
I read a quote once "be the change you want to see." With Washington, D.C. on board with this, change we want to see, I have high hopes for it to become nation wide.
