The Republican Party chose the first black national chairman in its history today, just shy of three months after the nation elected a Democrat as the first African-American president.
Has President Obama elevated the African-American voice on both sides of the party line?

Michael Steel was a great choice for this position. I don't think he has any bagage in his past. He was studying for the Roman Cathoic Preisthood earlier in his life. I suspect he will be in the Presendential hunt in the next few years. What do you think?
Dr. Condi Rice is a sharp ladie, truly an intellectual. Will she ever run for president? What do you think? Has her association with GW destroyed her political chances?
Someone try to convence me why i should re-join the democratic party after i left it to become an independent. I read Bruce Bartlett's Book (which was well refereced} "Wrong on Race: the Democratic party's buried past", and it really made me do much refelction about the democratic party. I am now an independent.
Drill, Baby, Drill. Remember, it wasn't Palin that coined this phrase, it was the guy who claimed that he was pelted with Oero cookies during a debate that said this.
